You are right Howard, it is blowing like crazy here in Corpus. Still going at 11:20 pm. Alex and I certainly enjoyed visiting with you and Linda. Got 2 compliments on the my bacelet today. They are beautiful Linda. Enjoy the "valley". Chris

Good morning Howard and Linda
Just wanted to wish you a great day with your training today and the new job. I am sure in no time at all you will both be experts. That wind must have been terrible.. We had a couple windstorms last week with gusts up to 60mph. Awful --just awful. Now all we have is snow....Got stuck in the driveway yesterday....I guarantee it won't happen next winter. lol

Still in Spokane
Jenny

Howard, you are a hoot! Remember to breathe! If you had been anywhere in the southwest this past couple of days, you would have had the same experience. Sometimes, like everywhere, even snowbird havens have weather.
In Tucson we had freezing overnite and the front, with winds, moved through here on Weds.
Remember, breathe! You could be me, up at 0530 getting dressed and ready to go off to a JOB for the next 8-10 hrs.
Keep the great experiences coming.
Judy

Hope the weather in the Valley improves. A cold front came through the Dallas Ft. Worth area yesterday with wind, snow and sleet. It will get up to 70 by Tues. I am sure this cold front effected your weather down there. So in a couple of days you should have the type of weather you were really expecting.

Relax Howard....good things: Lots of cheap golf, and most everyone walks, good exercise. Really good produce at the HEB grocery stores, not Wal-Mart. Huge flea market north of McAllen is very interesting. Good weather, although it can get windy. Good bike riding..flat. Visit Benson State Park area for good bike riding and hiking. We are staying at Benson Palms starting Jan. 1st. Really great bird watching, those Green Jays are spectacular. Wife and I play a lot of golf, you might consider getting Linda some lessons, it's a good thing to do together. Might try to take a tour next month. Have fun!

Well, Texans say that if you don't like the weather, just wait an hour, it will change !!
I hope you enjoy your stay. Looking forward to seeing you dressed up like tram drivers, and your old tram. Can I see 'tram bracelets' in the future ?What kinds of birds are coming to your feeders ?
I wonder how you two are going to take this 'structured living' for a while ??
Best wishes, Penny

We wondered if the cold front would make it as far south as you are...sorry the winds were so bad. Welcome to the wild, wild West! We're used to the winds out here perhaps a little more but it's still never fun...especially in an RV! May you have clear and calm days ahead....Tom and Pam
