I remember hearing that Texas State Parks are offering fishing for free in state parks only. I'm not sure if that is for residents or both...may be worth checking into.

Welcome to Texas, y'all going to love this place and meet some of the nicest people.
Ted

Keep an eye out for red-headed woodpeckers, just left Rocky Point Monday and saw some of the largest I have ever seen. I wish we could have stayed another day or two and met you. How long will you be there?..... Don

Welcome to Texas !! Ya'll take care now, ya hear !!

You are now in my "home" state. I had to laugh about the Texas drawl. After living in Grove for 30 years now, I still get comments on my Texas drawl. Yes, I still call Texas my HOME state. It seems, once you have lived there, it is hard to get it out of your blood. I loved the sunset photos. My best friend from childhood lives at Lake Lavon. Not much lake, so dry, no rain. Have a great time in Texas!!

Welcome to Texas!!!

Prepare yourself for the drive through Dallas! Lots of construction on 35E if that's the way you're planning on heading south. We're in Austin right now. Welcome to Texas!

Sandra

Welcome to Texas.
I am a Texan with a British Passport. I wasn't born here, but I got here as soon as I could !! There are lakes for your boats all over TX, maybe that is why they don't have a guide. Just follow the traffic on Friday evening! Happy Trails, Penny

Welcome to Texas, guys! We've been parked in the Valley for two weeks now and loving our fulltime RV life. Did South Padre a week ago, and took in an awesome shrimp-fest at Port Isabel on the mainland. Temps have been even warmer than normal, so come on down! We're looking forward to taking your guided tour at Santa Ana this winter.

Hi Howard and Linda, we have been in Texas since 7 Nov. We had one of our Aluminum wheels crack and had to wait to get it replaced. We are in Houston and will depart 15th going to Corpus Christi for one night and then on to our winter site in Mission Tx. We will look you guys up some time next month. GBY...
