Wow. I'm going to have to start calling Linda "The Bird Lady of Cambridge" :) Yes, Howard I know you are along for the ride, but I'm convinced Linda exudes some kind of scent or aura that attracts birds. From the constant crazy hummers, to the adorable picture of the goldfinch yesterday, to the totally awesome pictures of the pelicans today, she's the WOMAN! I am so envious.

We're in Maine now, put up the hummer feeder and are waiting. But it's pretty cool up here and I imagine the hummers have had enough sense to start heading south.

The only creatures flying around here seem to be the swarms of flying ants :) Have a nice Labor Day weekend.

On the replacement for the loveseat: take a look at Lazyboy. All our funiture was replaced with LB. We have 3 recliners and a loveseat/recliner. The loveseat has 2 recliners built into it. The biggest benefit of LB (besides the comfort) is the fact that all the seat backs come off easily so you can get them inside without major problems.

Howard,
You better be careful or you are going to be on that love seat when it goes out the door :) Talking about horns and pointed tailes! Remember she can drive the rig now:) I know just how she feels, when it is time to eat, it is time to eat and don't be talking about going home and lighting the grill and cooking those steaks. They can wait until tomorrow, that is why they invented fast food restaurants. (For all the ladies who are too hungry to make it back to the kitchen:)
The pictures were cool! I bet it was an awsome sight to see all those pelicans in one place.

Jack,
Funny you should mention La-Z-Boy. That is exactly the place that I am shopping. We bought our recliners from there and we love them. So naturally I want to get my loveseat from them. I also like the fact that they have wonderful warranties!

Jo,
I think it is just because I have a Bird Brain! But I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Beautiful birds and great pics.
We got rid of our 2 recliners that came with our rv they were so heavy and hard to move about with the slide, they must of weighted 200 lbs (both of them together). Replaced them with the Euro loungers with ottmans. Lots more room and they are comfy and easy to move.
Tomorrow off to Moument Valley Utah traveling first time with sister-in-law and hubby in our first RV trip altogether, should be great. Then back home to wrap up the closing of the house!!! WHOO HOO!!!

Hi Linda and Howard. Just want to let you know that in the last 3 days the hawks, hummers and kingfishers have arrived in Corpus Christi. Most will head to Mexico for the winter. We have 3 big feeders out for the hummers and are having to refill them everyday. The hummers looks a little worn out and skinny. We are waiting for the white pelicans to arrive. They stay here in the Laguna Mardre for the winter. We love to see them fly over the first time. Wonderful. Looking forward to you being here in So. Texas. You are going to love the birding here in the winter. Have fun. Christine
