Freedom...that's what it's about :) You might want to check out the Datastorm Users Rally in October in Kerrville, TX. http://www.datastormusers.com/rallies.cfm. It's a great area and looks like a good seminar series.

I think I'll send your email requests out to everyone who sends me email-I have the same requirements and routine. Why do people think we want all that crap (you were diplomatic, I don't have to be!:))

John Wayne's Birthplace is in DeWitt IA, not far from DesMoine. Also the Living History Farm is right outside DesMoine, a neat history lesson and lots of information about the Native Americans who lived or still live in Iowa. Amana Farms is on I-80, it is an Amish farm. Just a few things I spent looking at. The midwest is corn and soybeans and oh yeah, cattle feedlots! Have a great time just seeing the sights. Blessings JandS

Your "Email Request" was tastefully done and I hope it will have an effect on how the 'world' sends emails! How do people find this stuff anyway?

If of interest -- the bridges of Madison County are just a short trip from where you are to Winterset, IA. There is also a nice city RV park there.

Howard, John Wayne's birthplace is in Winterset. So, if you want to see the covered bridges from the movie "The Bridges of Madison County" you can see where Marion Michael Morrison was born too. The Amana's are great. Love the food. There is Bily Brothers Clock museum in Spillville, IA. Iowa has a lot more to offer than most think. Have a great time. Glad LOW went well.

Howard I agree with you on the email request.

Thanks for the suggestions and your understanding on the email thing. :)

You might check out the Hot Air Balloon Museum in Indianola. Neat little town just 12 miles south of Des Moines. Take I 35 south and 12 miles east is Indianola and 12 miles west is Winterset. We spent a week at the fairgrounds in Indianola with our MH and toured the area on bicycle and auto. Great bicycle trail from Indianola NE. Iowa has a bicycle map that shows all the trails.

Gonnabee from the Escapees forum. Your classes were great last weekend. Gene could not stop talking out the 1:00 class.
