Keep your cold weather clothes for when you come out West. We can have 96 degree weather one day and 61 degrees the next here on the coast. Not like your warm, humid weather I see you have a lot of in the south.
I'm curious what basic spices Linda has and what cook books she likes the best. She sounds like a better cook than I am (of course that would not take much) and may not rely on cookbooks at all. I love her recipes and my husband can eat a whole Monkey Bread ring all on his own :)

This one and Being Still are my favorites. I will revisit them often.

Howard I had a similar problem with my king pin stablized-could not use it one time- to low- I took the 3 metal pieces off the legs and the center chain out-I bought length of say medium chain and bolted one end to one of the legs and bolted some "s" hooks to the three legs/ install under the kinpin run the chain from the one leg to the other two legs and back to the third leg and tight the top cup under the kin pin until the chain is tight and now you hav a infinitly adjustable stabilizer.

Teresa,

I have several spices and too many to list here. I have a handful of cookbooks. I have a great collection of Taste of Home Annual Cook Books that Howard's mom used to get me for my birthday each year. I also use the Food Network.com site a lot. I also have a few Pampered Chef Cookbooks and my all time favorite is my PartyLite Cookbook that was only printed one year as a fundraiser.

You had better not make the Monkey Bread very often if he likes it that much! We love it too!!!!
