Here's a tip on starting a campfire - wet wood or not. Keep a spare can of motor oil - place your wood teepee style - pour a little motor oil over it and throw a match in it. (Be careful to stand back ) Your fire will blaze up with no smoke. Even if you are using wet wood it will work. The fire will dry out the wood and it won't smoke. I have been using this for years everytime I build a campfire. I call it the "Old John Hand Indian Fire Trick"

We were at Ft Stevens in Oregon one year and it was pouring rain. We were the only ones that had a nice warm dry fire.

Try it you will be amazed.

Still in Spokane

What is the weight of your truck?

Fred, the truck weighs 8460 lbs. empty (except for fuel).
