Hi Linda, I wanted to tell you that when you are needing reading material ask in the town you are staying if they have a used paperback store. I get my reading material at the one here in Wichita. Just pay half price and most of the books are like new. People read them then take them to the book store. That's a real savings and you can take them back and you wont have to store a bunch of books all the time. Enjoy your journals keep up the good work. Hopefully we'll be joining you two on the road soon.

Been enjoying your posts - spent most of my weekend acquainting myself with your adventure. We have a Keystone Everest MONSTER that we currently use for recreation, and we love it completely. But it's actually our retirement home... What a lovely thought that is. Even more so now after enjoying your website. Thank you!

Well, first let me say that I missed you guys this weekend. We went camping for the long weekend and since I don't have satellite, I couldn't read the daily journal entries. I caught up this morning though. :o)

I've following you for a few months now, living vicariously through you and your adventures. We have a son in high school (Sr. next year), and college for him after that, so we are several years from going full time.

I've learned so much from your experiences and I often pass them on to my husband. He knows now who I'm talking about when I start with, "Howard said...". :o)

My youngest was in 911. She was on her way to the World Trade Center when the second plane hit as she was coming up the subway. It was horrifying as we did not find her until three in the afternoon. We both visited the WT site on this past Mother's Day for the first time since 911. It was somber.
