We are some of the non-social full timers. Wish we could be otherwise but have to say I've chatted to a few people but have never really gotten to know another RVer since we started on the road in August 2004.

Guess that's why I sometimes miss working......

Sandra

Sandra,
Bite your tongue - miss working?! :)

Seriously, we can share some tips on getting to know RVers if you (or any other reader) is really interested in expanding your social horizons while full-timing.

Hi Linda and Howard, We met you last year at Corenth in Double Springs, Al. Howard you played golf with my husband Bob and Brother-in-law, John. We have been following your journal and have really enjoyed it. We were planing on going full time this summer but Bob keeps getting jobs so we will shoot for Nov. We will be guest hosting at Corenth for the month of May. Really looking forward to it. Linda if you will save your pop tabs from cans, i will show you how to make belts from them, when we run in to you next. My sister Gail made over $1,000. last year makeing them and selling for $15.00

Sharon,
Great to hear from you! We can't believe you have been keeping up with us since way back when.

Me and the boys sure had fun that day. :) Glad to see you are taking the full-timing plunge and camphosting. Wonderful!

I keep telling everyone that the Corinth Recreation Campground (Bankhead National Forest in northwestern Alabama) is a hidden gem.

Looking forward to the day we run into you again!

You asked a few days ago about who subscribes thru RSS feeds. I'm one. If it ain't got a feed I don't read it. I subscribe to more than 400 feeds and there's no way to keep up otherwise.

Becaue your older blog was so cumbersome, not until you changed to typepad did I follow your blog with any regularity, so it's a very good thing you switched to modern technology!

And a request: even though you like large type in your main blog, will you look to see if you can allow the feed's size to be the default? The font in the feed is *huge* compared to all my others and is a bit disconcerting.

We swapped emails awhile back - it's good to keep up with you thru a feed.

All the best!

Hi Steve,
I have been unable to find an option to allow the "feed font" to be different from the "post font". Sorry I can't accomodate, but glad you like keeping up via a feed.
