Now that is what being in the outdoors is about. Seeing things most people only read about.

I read you journal everyday and enjoy it very much. I sometimes print it for reading later in the day. It would be nice to be able to print a single day's journal without having to select the day's entry before posting. I will also recommend Desota State Park near Ft. Payne, AL (Mentone, AL) as a great place to stay on your way to Chattanooga. They have several pull thru sites.

My previous comment should have said "without having to select the day's entry before printing"

My wife and I are counting days until June 3rd, when we will hit the road for 4 months. Reading your journal helps the days go by and makes us more and more anxious. The egg laying pictures/story are a good example of how to answer that question; "What are you guys going to do with all your free time?" Those of us who are lucky enough to RV, know that at any time we might run across something that 95% of Americans will never experience! Thanks for your efforts on communicating with us and your site is simply an excellent piece of work.

For those of you that are curious about the gestation period of the eggs...It will take 80-90 days before they hatch and the temperature of the nest determines the gender. If the nest stays at 85 degrees and above, the turtles will be female and if it stays below 85 degress they will be male.

The easiest way I know to print a single entry is to drag the mouse from top to bottom highlighting just the entry. Then right click and click on "Print" in the box that pops up.

When the printer window comes up, choose the "Selection" radio button under "Page Range" and then "Print." That will print just the selected text and photos and not any of the other graphics or sidebar items.

Also, to save on toner, you can hit the "Preferences" button on the printer window and choose "FastDraft" before printing.

I just discovered an easy way to print any singe day's entry. Just right-click on desired day on the calendar and select "Print Target".

Great, great phtots during your stay here - sounds like the perfect spot! :)
