« Canoeing & Another Party (Linda Is The Entertainment) | Main | Readers Respond To "Possible" New Journal Format »

We have our fulltime journal on Typepad and really like the options. I really like the option to include photos in the post and you can even post from a mobile device. Linking to Flickr for photo options is also interesting. We're amateurs but I think the possibilities are extensive with Typepad. Happy Trails!

P.S. Your banner is really nice..on our monitor it appears a little too small (height).

I like this format better. I like being able to scroll to the previous day's entry. However, I do like the map with the original.

Hi, Howard-

I like this format. It is nice to have the links right there. Will you be able to have a map link or something similar, so we can see where you are and where you've been?

As you know, we use the Mytripjournal also and I hate to see you leave it. However, I really like this format (except for not having the map). Are pictures easier to post? It looks like you can size them within the text. That is a good feature.

I agree that I like the format here, but do miss the map. Perhaps a separate page with the map on it would be a possibility? I especially like the photos integrated with your journal, that is a pain on MyTripJournal and not especially user friendly. The calendar here is nice too, in order to look back, rather than going back page by page.

We like the new format. You probably have a dozen new viewers this week from the Ocala area. Bob told several RVers about your site, some were full-timers. Did like the old map style a litter better. Everything else is great.

Thanks to all for feedback. We have added a map. It's not the same as the other Journal, but it's not bad.

Pictures are actually easier to load on MyTripJournal, but the options of sizing them and including them in the text overrides that. Plus I have decided not to upload the pictures to the Journal, but rather just "retrieve" them via links from our smugmug galleries.
