We drove our rental car from Dayton to Columbus on Wednesday and checked into our hotel. Wednesday night, we got a half-inch to an inch of snow. We just can't seem to come to Ohio in the winter without getting snowed on - even if they've had no snow prior to our arrival. :)
On Thursday, it was cold and we got some work done in our room. In the evening, we were invited to Mick & Sandy's house for dinner. They had been to an RV show seminar in a prior year and then attended one of our Rallies.
We had a wonderful evening getting caught up with them and enjoying a home-cooked meal. Thanks so much Mick & Sandy!
Overnight it got down to 11 degrees.
On Friday, we drove over to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Our first seminar at the Columbus RV Super Show was at 2:00. The RV Show is in Exhibit Hall A while our seminar room is in the "B" section of meeting rooms quite a distance from the show itself. There is pretty good signage, and people were able to find us as our first seminar was full.
Our seminar room is much better and much quieter than the open space near the entrance we had in Dayton. It's a nice set up.
On Saturday, the temperature increased significantly and show attendance seemed to be much better than on Friday. We had a great day with four seminars and we met a lot of wonderful people, as usual.
On Sunday, we'll finish up Columbus and that will be five RV shows for January and February. We have one more to go this month - Raleigh, NC - and we've pretty much already decided that we won't be doing as many shows next year. We're not sure which shows we'll do yet, but we are going to try to do a couple out west if we can.
That's it for now. Until next time.
