Well, our weather went from rainy, windy, and cool to sunny, hot, and humid - 90 degrees the last couple of days.
I woke up at 3:00 a.m. this morning feeling terrible. It got better after taking some allergy meds, but I don't ever remember allergies hitting me this hard. In fact, I'm not completely sure it is allergies.
It was afternoon before I left the rig. Linda & I rode our bikes around the fairgrounds a few times. Probably not good for me, but I always feel better after some exercise.
Linda worked on several things while I went in and out of my haze. Later, a couple that had talked to Walter earlier came in to get their fifth wheel weighed.
While we were out weighing them, our friends Bill & Linda came by to visit. Bill did our "Alaska" seminar at the Spring Rally. Now, they are on their way to do a tour of the Canadian Northwest Territories.
After we finished with the weighing, we went out to dinner. Not knowing much about the local places, we decided to go to the South Side Soda Shop & Diner.
It was featured on the Food Network Show "Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives". It's not fancy, but what we had was pretty good. The milkshakes were wonderful. :)
After dinner, we headed back to the rig. Bill & Linda were only in the area for one night, and since I was a bit groggy, they dropped us off.
Later on, we sat out between our rigs with Walter & Amy. The temps had dropped and it was nice out there.
That was about it. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow. But, if not, we really don't have to be anywhere or do anything. :)
