After our long drive on the Creole Nature Trail yesterday, we weren't up for much driving today.
Linda did go do laundry - a much better experience than last time. :)
And I updated our Frequently Asked Questions page. That was a bit overdue.
We are getting a pretty high volume of emails and some of the answers to our FAQs had changed slightly. So I needed to do some updating to have a good place to refer some of our newer readers. :)
Other than just hanging out and entertaining ourselves in the rig, that was about it for the day.
Around 5:00, Andy & Joanna came by and picked us up for dinner. They live in the area, and Andy has been following us for a long time.
We met Andy way back in November 2007 when he visited us at Tickfaw State Park. He was the first drop-in visitor to catch us in our pajamas. :)
They took us to the Casa Manana restaurant in Lake Charles where we had a nice dinner and got to know both of them a little better. Andy would go full-time in a heartbeat, but Joanna isn't so sure about that. :)
Andy had extra tickets to the McNeese State football game tomorrow night and invited us. Linda declined and I considered it, but ultimately decided that would keep me out way too late. I would've gone to a day game. :)
After dinner, they gave us a brief tour of the McNeese campus and the lakefront before delivering us back to our rig. They came in briefly before departing with hugs and handshakes to get back to their dogs at home.
Another lovely evening and dinner with friends. :)

Howard & Linda, I love your photographs and I'm curious:
1. What kind of camera do you have?
2. What lens do you use most often?
3. How do you shoot? (example: auto & let the camera do the work or choose your own settings?)
4. If you choose your own, which settings work best for you most of the time?
5. Do you use a tripod?
Thank you for sharing; your pictures are fabulous
