Last Day As A Foursome - (Monticello, UT)
What a way to start the day! This was taken out our entrance side picture window early this morning.

It was sort of a chilly, cloudy start to the day. None of us was very motivated.
In time the ladies fixed a hot breakfast which we enjoyed between our rigs.
As we waited for the weather to get better, Jack & I dozed off in our loungers. I have my sunburned face to show for it. :)
After my nap, I went inside to do some work on our April financials. With us conserving energy a bit, I'm not on the computer as much while boondocking. But I did have the inverter on a little longer this afternoon as I just had to get some things done.
So I'm a little behind on getting financials posted and returning a few emails. Your patience is appreciated. :)
With the power use and the solar panels charging, it was pretty much a wash on our amp hours during those three hours.
Later we had another wonderful dinner and then drove to Newspaper Rock for a look at the petroglyphs.
After that 40 mile roundtrip, we were soon back at our campsite having dessert and waiting for the sun to go down. It wasn't long before the campfire was lit.
And the sun was slowly being consumed by the western clouds.
Each night one of the rangers at Canyonlands NP (Michelle) has been coming by and exercising her dog, Eli. Eli & Poppy play together while Danielle and Michelle walk.
And the other three of us simply enjoy the fire as the cooler evening temperatures take hold.
Who could ask for anything more? :)
It was our last night with Jack & Danielle. They are headed back to Moab to join some friends for a couple of days before moving on to their next workamping job in Colorado.
We're going to stick around here a little longer, and we will sure miss having our boondocking mentors. But the show must go on and we are ready to go it alone. :)
