It was a blustery morning as I made my way to my office at Krystals. :)
Linda slept in until after 9:00 while I was out doing the Journal entry, returning emails, and making my free weekend cell phone calls.
When I returned home, the weekend campers were leaving in droves. Though the sun was shining early, the rain and clouds blew in quickly.
Linda was excited to tell me that she had seen a female hummingbird at one of the feeders. As the day progressed, the little princess returned again and again to both feeders - a bright little spot of joy on a dreary day. :)
We have made the decision to move to another park on Monday, though we still have some investigating to do with the RV dealer to see when our replacement wheels are expected.
But as of right now, it looks like we will be moving to Harrision Lake State Park in Tennessee. It is the number two rated campground in the state according to our Best RV & Tent Campgrounds guide and it is close to Chattanooga.
Linda worked on her greeting cards while I dissected the month's expenses. After much thought and discussion, we have decided to revise the way we present expenses.
We are going to remove our expenses related to our little business ventures from our actual expenses spreadsheet. Since Linda was pushing for that, I just figured it was her ploy to get her craft expenses removed from the budget. :) My thought was that it's all just a bunch of hobbies and entertainment expenses until the "businesses" started making money.
Well, we are at almost exactly breakeven on the year, so I have agreed that we can show the business expenses separately and provide a more accurate picture of what we spend to live and have fun on the road.
Yeah, the businesses are fun, too. But they are expenses that other full-timers would not need to spend. So, in the next day or so, we will post our April financial information and a revised actual expenses table for the year.
That's about all we did today. Tiko & Misti visited briefly after they went through all their stuff and determined what they didn't really need on the road.
I watched a little golf. The PGA tournament was in New Orleans this weekend and it had been moved back to English Turn Country Club because of the hurricane damage to the TPC of New Orleans.
I have played English Turn, so it's always more fun to watch a tournament on a course I've played. I'm glad I had it on as it turned out to be a fantastic finish for a first time winner on tour.
We just sat around and listened to the rain with our fireplace on. A little TV and then to bed. But, what a five days we have spent here. We highly recommend Cloudland Canyon State Park. :)
